Had by far his best season druing the Marlins inaugural season in 1993 hitting 20 home runs and having 87 RBI's. Currently working with ESPN in a few functions on radio, Little League World Series and World Baseball Classic Coverage, and on Baseball Tonight.

Walt Weiss

Played fourteen seasons for the A's, Marlins, Rockies, and Braves. AL Rookie of the Year in 1988. Wikipedia says that since retirement he has been involved in charity work.

Garry Templeton

Garry Templeton had a solid 16 year big league career for the Cardinals, Padres, and Mets. After flicking off the crowd in St. Louis and aggravating managment there they traded him to San Diego for Ozzie Smith, in what many argue was a fairly lopsided deal as Smith went on to a hall of fame career the majority of which was played in St. Louis. In 2009, he is the manager of the Independent Long Beach Armada.

Glenallen Hill

Glenallen Hill played 13 seasons in the major leagues where he was basically a professional hitter and not really known to be too swift with the glove. He also has such a strong case of arachnophobia that he once ended up on the disabled list with injuries sustained reacting to a nightmare he had spout spiders, earning him the nickname "Spiderman." He is currently the first base coach for the Colorado Rockies.

Marquis Grissom

Played in the big leagues for 17 seasons with Expos, Braves, Indians, Brewers, Dodgers, and Giants. In 2009, he is returning to the majors as first base coach for the Washington Nationals. Pat Listach

Pat Listach was the American League rookie of the year in 1992 and went on to play six seasons in the major leagues. In 2008, Listach was honored as Pacific Coast League Manager of the Year for his work with the Iowa Cubs and in 2009 will be the third base coach for the Washington Nationals.

Brady Anderson

Spent 15 years in the big leagues with mostly the Baltimore Orioles, but also with the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians. Probably best known for that miraculous jump in home runs he had in 1996 hitting 50, while hitting 16 the year before and 18 the year after. But this video from TMZ is just a great story. Apparently, Brady likes to pick up girls online and text them pictures of his abs.

Otis Nixon

He had a seventeen year big league career with the Yankees, Indians, Expos, Braves, Red Sox, Rangers, Blue Jays, Dodgers, and Twins. Nixon had a pretty bad cocaine habit during his playing days and was arrested in 1987 while a member of the Indians. However, he seems to have turned his life around and now runs On Track Ministries and according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution is sober and working on a book.

Troy Neel

Played in parts of three seasons for the Oakland A's and had a pretty good year in 1993 when he received seven votes for the Rookie of the Year in the American League. After Oakland he played for six seasons for the Orix Blue Wave in the Japanese League. In 1998 a court in Austin, Texas ordered Neel to pay $5000 a month is child support and he has not paid since then and now owes more than $720,000 in back child support. Neel was apparently living in the South Pacific country of Vanuatu and ignoring his child support obligations for years. Full story here.

Scott Brosius

Had an 11 year pro career for the Oakland A's and the New York Yankees. A three time world champion for the Yankees, including a world series MVP, an all star appearance and a gold glove over his career. He played three years for Division III Linfield College in Oregon and spent five years working as an assistant there after his retirement and is now the head coach there. Last year he led them to a school record 35 wins and a birth in the NCAA Division III finals.

Tim Teufel

Spent eleven seasons in the big leagues with the Twins, Mets, and Padres. He was the head coach of the A ball St. Lucie Mets in 2008 and will return to that same role in 2009. Was one of the bad boys of the 1986 Mets and was known for being arrested in a bar fight with off duty police officers in Houston with Mets Teammates Ron Darling, Bob Ojeda, and Rick Aguilera.

Mr. Lima Time. Apparently he will be playing the 2009 season for the Long Beach Armada of the independent professional Golden Baseball League. I can't believe he is only 36, and I sure do miss Lima Time. He has not been in the big leagues since a 5-16 effort for the Kansas City Royals in 2005. He has recently appeared in the Mexican League in 2006 and in the Korean League in 2007.
